Angélica Pires Nevesadmin
Veterinary doctor graduated from the Federal University of Pelotas in 2013. She was a Fellow of the National Research Council from 2008 to 2012 conducting studies on equine breeding with focus on the reproductive system of mares. Dr. Neves performed her residency with emphasis in anesthesiology, clinic, orthopedics and internal medicine of horses at the Horse Center Clinic (Petrópolis, RJ). She made updates in the areas of artificial insemination, semen biotechnology and embryo transfer and freezing in the Laboratorio de Reproducción Equina in Córdoba, Argentina with Dr. Luis Losinno. She completed a specific training in equine anesthesiology with Dr. Alex Valverde (Ontario Veterinary College - Canada). She followed reproductive seasons at Santa Ana stud farm and Stud Eternamente Rio in Bagé, as well as training in the reproductive area in São José dos Campos, SP, and clinic-surgical in Indaiatuba- SP. Her main areas of activity are in equine breeding and internal medicine.
